From broadcast to confirmed airplay
A look at what happens between a station playing your track and the detection appearing on your dashboard.
You upload master audio; embedded tags are read to pre-fill title, artist, album and artwork. You confirm or correct the details before processing.
The song is turned into a compact acoustic signature that can be recognised from a short clip, and becomes monitor-ready.
Enabled internet radio stations are listened to around the clock and checked against your catalogue.
A candidate is only promoted to a confirmed detection once the match holds up consistently across the broadcast window.
A track playing straight through does not create dozens of events — repeated windows are collapsed into a single airplay with its play duration.
Confirmed airplay updates your dashboards and reports, and can be exported to CSV, filtered by song, artist, station, country and date.
Why detections are trustworthy
S2N distinguishes internally between no match, candidate and confirmed detection. Only confirmed detections become airplay records. We don't present raw algorithmic scores as calibrated probabilities — an event is logged because the evidence holds up, not because a single match looked close.
